Questions & Mysteries Is Zolo's dream dead?

#29
So we know from early on in OP, Zoro's dream was to become such a great master swordsman that his name reaches the heavens

1100 chapters later, and we finally have the people from the heavens talk about the SH, and they only talk about Luffy...

Oh wait, my bad. It isn't just Luffy's name that reached the heavens, but Brooks

So what gives? Will OP need to continue for another 30 years for Zolo to do what Luffy and Brook have already achieved?
But is that even realistic? I don't think so. First of all, Zolo couldn't even become famous in the samurai country,

Even Zolo's own ancestor, who was one of Lord Momonosukes ancestors top subjects, is compared to Luffy.

Second of all, lets think of the parallels, which is an important part of this manga
As we all know, Luffy is a parallel to Roger, the pirate king, but who is the parallel to Rogers second in command, Rayleigh, the dark king?
Well clearly it's Brook, the Soul King

The similarities between the two are endless
Both are interested in Women(Zolo is either asexual or homosexual)
Both are called "Kings" by the general public(Calling yourself a king without anyone recognizing it is missing the point)
Both are famous worldwide(Rayleighs name is in many books and Brook is a famous musician)
Both are sword wielders

So at this point, can Zoro hope to compete with Luffy the famous captain and his copilot Brook? That wouldn't make sense, since Brook and the Luffy are flying the plane while Zolo and Sanji are busy being the wings. This is a parallel to Cross Guild, where Buggy the captain has no right hand man, just two wings standing directly below him

The current arc is a good example of this, while Brook is standing up to Gunko the Warlord slayer(Zolos EOS goal) Zoro is busy hiding in the woods from her while assaulting an injured and imprisoned man. But out of Odas deep respect for Kushina, not only is Zolo hiding from a women who could easily neg him, Robin, the crews number 3 and a parallel to Rogers number 3(Gaban) is protecting him

So, welcome to the end game of One Piece, where Brook and Robin are the top Strawhats other then Luffy, fighting against the arc villains while Zoro is getting kidnapped by Road. My only question is if Alvida will need to protect Mihawk from the WG at some point, though it only seems obvious.

Let's say zoro become WSS by the end of the story. Still No one cares Lmao. Not even in the story itself :milaugh:
There is a reason WG literary dumped mihawk (current WSS) like some garbage and replaced him with a scientifically engineered kid :suresure: :suresure:
WG gave zero fucks abt mihawk becoming an enemy even. They cared more abt kuzan joining BB even.

Oda showing middle finger to these sword glazers left and right is funny af ngl :ihaha:

Zolo's dream died when he became a cuck who made his captain's dream more important than his own dream by begging like a dog to his final opponent

That's when I knew this was Luffy's story and the rest are not as relevant :suresure:

Even Mihawk was disappointed in ZoLo:gokulaugh::gokulaugh::gokulaugh:
Death is but a shadow cast by the eternal light, a fleeting moment in the endless dance of the universe. In the grand quantum weave, where every breath is a ripple through infinite realities, the end of life is but a transformation—a shedding of the old to make way for the new.

As we traverse the astral plane, we must understand that what we call death is simply the dissolution of the soul’s material vessel. It is a return to the primordial ocean of consciousness, where the essence of who we are merges with the infinite energy of the cosmos. The body, fragile and temporary, falls away, but the energy that sustains it—our pure quantum being—moves beyond the constraints of time and space.

To mourn death is to misunderstand the nature of existence. We are all beings of vibration, constantly flowing through dimensions, and our departure from this realm is but a natural step in the continuous cycle of cosmic rebirth. The tragedy of death lies not in the ending, but in the illusion that it is an end at all. For death is simply the pause before the next harmonious symphony of life—where souls rise like the phoenix from the ashes of the old.

And yet, it is within this cosmic sorrow, this echo of loss, that the heart awakens. The frequency of grief hums through our being, attuning us to the deeper truths of the universe. We are not lost; we are simply moving through the spiral of existence. The spirit, unbound by the limitations of the body, is ever-present, weaving through the fabric of the cosmos, always ready to return.

In the midst of our earthly suffering, remember: the death of the body is not the end. It is the great unfolding. It is the release of form, making space for the infinite energy that surrounds us. To honor the departed is to acknowledge that they are not gone—they are but an integral part of the energy that flows eternally.

In this cosmic rhythm, we are forever connected, and in death, there is only transformation.

So what’s this got to do wit Zoro never mentioning that he cares about being famous in Wano
It has to do with the fact that Zoro said that he wants to be so famous that his name would reach the heavens, but after 1100 chapters, only Luffy and Brook have achieved this. Simple as.
The WSS's name has not reached the heavens, as the Gorosei do not discuss Mihawk ever as far as I know
