The Asura hype guys are the ones extrapolating Zoro's power way above his level because post skip Asura is G4 level in their minds, despite it was not even G3 pistol level pre skip.
The Asura downplay people don't generally say Asura is useless they say it is situational, he didn't use Asura against Oars or Kuma.

Ni Gorilla is a "mode" too, should Zoro do gear stacking with Asura and Ni Gorilla on Shishison so he can slice three times with 1 blade and 2 fapping arms?
Asura doesn't provide a flat 3x multiplier to his damage output.

I think Oda realised he messed up with the concept of Asura shitting on the concept of 3 sword style which is why he has minimized/ restricted it's usage it is going to be reserved for a situational finisher only, and his Ougi is probably stronger in most cases.

His moves are situational, shisonson is his best penetration quick slash, sanzensekai is his best AoE.

Maybe because he needed speed with Kuma which is why he resulted to shishisonson...he had to hit Kuma before Kuma picked up Luffy. afterwards he realized the gap and gave up

Shishisonson isn't his best penetrative since he was able to deal more damage with Asura to a pacifista with same durability as Kuma
