This is the type of small detail Oda would care about. He’s never been unrealistic with the travel times before. If he planned for CG to break Doffy out, he’d have shown them sailing away during Egghead instead of chilling in their base. He even had the perfect setup, with CG completing their ship in chapter 1082.

Doffy will likely break out for the sake of fanservice, but it won’t be because of CG

Impel Down is somewhere around the halfway point of Paradise, and Empty Bluffs is at the very least past those 3 islands that you can go to after FMI
