I wouldn't have that much problem with Oden if it wasn't for Oda constantly wanking him all the time, the non stop hype for Oden feels very forced.

I've already said this before but Oden a character that Oda is forcing people to like, didn't even make it on the top 10 or even top 15 in the Japan popularity poll results.

Also while I don't hate Oden, I just hate the constant wanking of his character by Oda.

We are constantly told by Oda that Oden is amazing, respected by all old legends, beloved by Roger and Whitebeard, gave the World's Strongesr Creature PTSD, etc basically that he's perfect.

However, Oda failed to give us a reason to like Oden. He's one of the most generic characters Oda has ever created.

Mmmm well yes, but he still has a good development, not the best, but not poor. He showed to be a beast just as Big Mom since he was a kid. Obviously not on her level.
