Dragon is the head of an entire organization if he makes a move against the holy land then it would spark a war he wasn't ready for if some lowly pirates with barely any noriety invades in the dead of night then the most that's gonna happen is they'll get a bounty. You're looking at it from an emotional spectrum
If you look at it from a political and logical standpoint then Dragon attacking mariejose would lead to more problems than it would solve
Especially if he and his army wasn't ready for an all out war at that time

I have SO MANY new Dragon slander memes right now from this chapter alone, hilarious ones but I am trying to have faith in Lolda and PRAYING that he doesnt fuck this up, the son of Garp and the father of Luffy, he needs to POP OFF already and fucking go SICKO MODE, full savagery on the WG for what they did to Kuma and Ginny alone and ESPECIALLY them too!
I want the "pacifist" Dragon to snap, nothing more fearsome then when a gentle man/soul/person snaps, when the gentle winds turn ferocois, a simple breeze become a hurricane of pure destruction and wrath.
I want Dragon to show why hes CALLED DRAGON, to show just how fearsome the son of Garp and the father of Luffy is, why his 2nd in command was called a TYRANT (Kuma is his 2nd in command to me regardless if hes is or not), the wrath of a dragon should never be underestimated.
For all the slander Fairy Tail gets, the voice acting and OST added SO MUCH to the emotional impact, the thrills, the hype, the epicness of it. It was the most pure of Shonen spirit for me since DBZ. The same sort of vibes but DBZ always had some of the greatest emotional stakes by far, FT is not on the same level ofc but still pretty great imo.
I need to see Bonney have a moment like this if Kuma does die in front of her too or even Luffy himself, he has a "Super Saiyan" style form now too lol:
But given Bonney is around Gohans age and the daughter of Kuma a cyborg now ofc and Android 16 is well an android obviously and was like another father figure for Gohan too, this would be a perfect parallel too. Cell is even an insect themed villain, Saturn may kill Kuma here and Saturn is just as evil as Cell if not more ofc and he sees people "as insects" and has the same kind of superioity complex that Cell, Frieza and some other DB villains have too at least.

Honestly the way Oda handled Luffys reaction to Aces death at the moment and after Marineford, when he raging in front of Jinbei was fucking excellent writing.
Seeing Luffy makes that expression and going completely silent and numb over the horror, an absolutely accurate reaction to overwhelming trauma and shock was perfect writing imo.

I'm surprised Luffy unlocked CoC and possibly even Future Sight briefly at Marineford, but never ever even got close to using Armament there.
At the very least they could have let him graze an Admiral, give him a little scratch, even though it'd be an outlier (though a lot of stuff in Marineford is an outlier, so it wouldn't matter lmao).

Yeah thats a great point, he could have caught an Admiral off guard by actually hitting them with haki unintentionally and thus them not expecting it. Most likely kuzan or kizaru ofc.
With all luffy went through and thus fought through too pre ts especially Impel Down and Marineford, its not surprise he has CoC. He should have INSANE haki gains from all the fighting he was doing and more so who be fought including some top tiers but you can tell haki wasn't planned from the beginning of OP, not originally part of it and only thought of much later, especially due to the overwhelming unstoppable logia problem too.

Since most Marines use swords too, it would be a perfect time for awaken CoA to not get severely injured by them.

Yeah Oda did say the Warlords were supposed to be the original main villains, so Marineford being the final arc or one of the final arcs would make sense.

He admitted a lot of stuff was improvised for OP and some of it were requests and ideas by his editors or whoever too.
Boa and Kidd never using it has bothered me immensely, she had her chance when BB fought her too but alas.
