If kawamatsu is fishmen, then he must come from fishman island. but does he know the first knight of the sea, jimbe?

Kappamatsu might be originally come from Wano though. Kappa is known as one of Japanese Mythology (Wikipedia) and it really fit with Kawamatsu's appearence and personality. There even mentioned that SumoWrestling is one of its interest

Kawamatsu has never been to Fishman, or has been to it only when he was a baby, and only knows Wano. He and Jinbei have surely never met before Wano arc.
