Character Discussion Jinbei is by far the worst addition to the crew

He adds literally nothing to the crew except strength, but even then he’s only barely on par with Franky, Brook, and Robin. I could excuse his addition if he at least had a personality but he doesn’t lol, he’s soooo booooorrring.

I’m gonna be honest, I think Carrot would’ve been a far better addition to the crew and I don’t even like her lol. At least she was shown to have some chemistry with the crew unlike Lamebei

Everything about this sucks ass, 0/10 opinion and I respect you less as a person for having expressed it

Jimbei brings Strength, wisdom, experience, expands the scouting ability of the SHs by x100000 and of course diversity.
He is also one of the most loyal characters in the series.
The perfect addition if we don't count ''feelings'' !

Jinbeis experience, independence and strength is valued not just by Luffy, he is one of the most revered characters in all of One Piece. It's a true testiment to Luffy and the Strawhats.

Sengoku - willing to forgive Jinbei breaking his commitment
Gorosei - value him for his traits, strength and being symbol of peace between fishmen and humans
Big Mom - willing to forgive Jinbei breaking his commitment. Treated better than her own family
Whitebeard - treating Jinbei like any other son in his family
Kidd and Law - Couldn't believe it when a man of his caliber joined Luffy
The Strawhats - excluding Sanji who has been down right disrespectful in several instances even if it's played down as humour everyone from Chopper to Robin calls him big boss and follow him. Zoro has not really interacted with Jinbei that much. Luffy adores him.

Can't remember right now but he probably had cool interactions as well with his fellow Shichibukai, Akainu and others. Only other guy who flat out disrespected him is Who's Who and somewhat Arlong jostling for power/being immature
