Yes that's true. The main goal was to drown out megumi. But gege could have just ended it there. No reason to introduce the gift.
And the bolded part while speculation, is almost guaranteed to happen lol. Gojo ain't taking sukuna with him. Yuji and co will fight sukuna. Gojo himself is betting on that.
And I'm not arguing that (second paragraph). I said both of those are CTs he hasn't used against Gojo, and CTs the students don't know about at all/much. If he pulls out Yorozu's gift and it proved effective, the narrative by the fans would be "oh this is the trump card, gojover" etc
Same for Open.
Fact is, unless the CT has Limitless bypassing haxx like a sure hit effect, Maho's adaptation, or DA it's useless against LIMITLESS Gojo.
Then it will still be useless against gojo if/after sukuna survives the purple. Sukuna losing against gojo is not a possibility for me. So, sukuna will beat him soon. He can only do that by bypassing limitless. Either his CT, open, or the gift will have to bypass it. We will see what happens.

That's why CT and open are different. What I understood from the "sorcerers would know" Line was, sorcerers would be capable of that. Not curses. So it's something completely different.
And gojo probably knows about his CT. What he didn't know was about open barrier domains. And he should have known that too. But students and him didn't talk at all for a month supposedly.

I am speculating that Sukuna is not using everything he has to further the fight just a bit more.
He has gotten by against everything gojo has thrown at him with just the 10s. So far. If he's enjoying the fight, then no reason for him to put it to a stop early by trying 200%.

So, the logical conclusion is that, sukuna somehow survives purple and beats gojo.
For that to happen, either sukuna has to get outside help. I don't see anyone, not even Kenny, being able to beat gojo. Even current one.
Or, sukuna has something that bypasses limitless that he hasn't used.
I know which fits my agenda and narrative. The second argument. And it also basically retroactively explains everything that happened in the fight.

I'm not all in on open either. Just that sukuna has SOMETHING that can bypass limitless. Which he hasn't used so far. It can be the CT, the gift, or a cursed tool, or Open for all I know. Just that he has something.
