But a little differently.

Follow this:

Domain exansion should have come at the end.

Sukuna and Gojo fight for 2 chapters. Gojo uses Blue, Red, Purple etc. Sukuna uses Shikigamis. Gojo manages to kill Mahoraga.
Later:
Both expand their domain.
Repeat of what happened in the manga.
Gojo dies because of injuries, but Sukuna gets brain damage and cant use domain anymore. End of fight.

It would still keep Sukuna's technique hidden.
