There are a lot of factors in this statement
1. Gege just wanted sukuna to show off his arsenal in tensed sections of the final fight
He just didn’t find any worth to expose all of the arsenal during his fight with gojo
2. it gave sukuna a weapon which is instant doom for any of the main caste
3. the fight is simply more interesting using 10shadows
4. Jjk has always been jumpjutsu kaisen
There is no such thing as fair fight , ur only goal is to kill ur opponent through any means necessary
Even gojo didn’t comment or roast sukuna in any way of using 10 shadows , heck he was conflicted on why sukuna isn’t using mahoraga in the fight

Story is going pretty similar to what I have been saying except Yuuta eating the last finger. (I wonder if he only ate part of the finger)? Next comes Megumi’s recovery and Sukuna retreating to regroup/find a powerup.
