I just watched Joker 2 and it became very very apparent to me that Arthur Fleck is not a very good adaptation of The Joker. In fact you can even argue that Arthur isn’t really The Joker at all.
Just a guy who inevitably inspires the real Joker.

The Joker is not a “mentally ill loner”. He’s not schizophrenic or suffering from multiple personality disorder or anything.
He’s just a highly intelligent psychopath who wishes to mock society through his twisted crimes

Honestly dislike how Arthur’s entire character revolves around him being mentally ill
I feel like that just stigmatizes mental illness more than anything.
