Who are we to say that Nobara wouldn't do such a thing, right? I mean, if she managed to survive in any way, I could see her trying to pay Yuji with the same coin, it doesn't even matter if Yuji had his reasons ... ... I don't know if she would use the same surprise box , but she would definitely fake her own death because of him LOL 
Since we're on the subject, do you guys think Nobara's curse technique could be used for other things aside piercing enermies with nails? For example, we know that she was able to damage Mahito because her Resonance power attacked his soul, right? So if she were to use this on herself and strongly maintain the shape of the straw doll with curse energy, wouldn't she be able to heal herself automatically without having to know the Reverse Curse technique?
Note: I'm not saying that she did it in that fight, if she survived it was because of Nitta's brother and Shoko, I was just thinking about the possibilities
