Honestly this has always been my problem with JJK (that got worse during CG)
The characters don’t actually interact or speak to each other AND they don’t have heartfelt reunions or painful realizations
Nanami died? Oh..
Yuki’s death? Not discussed
Yaga’s death? Not discussed
NOBARA’s DEATH? Not discussed
Todo losing an arm? Don’t even know where he is
Yuji’s heartfelt reunion with Gojo after so much has happened? Doesn’t exist
It’s so hard to grow attached to these characters or care about what happens to them
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again
JJK has an interesting plot that grips you and won’t let go
You wanna learn about the fingers, what are Kenjaku’s plans, what does Sukuna have in store, how does Megumi fit into all of this, etc and Gege juggles these things very well
But the characters? Pfffft
It’s like Gege doesn’t care sometimes
Now don’t take this the wrong way either
I’m super excited for the final fight but it’s like… one chapter?
So much has happened that spending an entire chapter on discussing what went down during/between Shibuya and now would actually make sense
Nanami dead, Nobara “dead”, Yaga dead, Yuki dead, Mai dead, the Zenin Clan gone, Kamo clan taken over, Tengen gone, Todo out of commission, Megumi gone

Good thing we got Sakurajima tho. Maki doing Sumo > Talking with students before the biggest fight in their lives
