him surpassing his limit and shit
a yuji powerup after so many chapters would be nice but just dont set urself up for disappointment

Hate to say this, but yeah, it is likely to be a a bait and switch.

Instead of Yuji's awakening, it will be Sukuna regaining his RCT and maybe even domain expansion.

At the same time, there is no one left to counter Sukuna's domain. Maybe Yuji will stand his ground against post-Black flash Sukuna.

not really that much of a bait , the ' awaken ' statement can be used to say itadori's potential has been unlocked and stuff
just something connected to it

it can be similar to gojo feeling a rush
i actually think yuji will land multiple black flashes next chapter which will make him surpass gojo ( like the chapter said )
or if the ' awakened ' part is too literal here then yuji might get the mysterious strength he got against meguna

Yeah, Gege is unpredictable. But Yuji is in need of a powerup fr. Both will get a buff from BF.
