Gege has no excuse. The bare minimum the manga needed to tell its story was 400 chapters.
Jump wouldβve given him double if thatβs what he wanted. He was one of their hit makers with cross demographic appeal.
Gege just focused on battles too much. Most of them werenβt good. What drew people in were the diverse and interesting characters.
What a shameful waste. Iβm rooting against Gege for the rest of his career. Unless the are significant factors and principles at stake that Iβm ignorant of, this feels like a lazy creator spiteful of his own creation.

I donβt believe it, Naruto vs Sasuke was well within its 3rd or 4th chapter and everybody knew that was the final fight. There wasnβt much to the story once that was over
I read before the whole school thing wasnβt really supposed to be a big part of the story.
If true Gege really just planned a story that was mainly about fighting the final villain lmao
