It's debatable ofc, but Gojo was able to do stuff back then which Yuki still cannot do to this day - like using Cursed Energy & Reversed Cursed Energy at the same time (as he does to use Purple & which Yuki couldn't do v. Kenjaku).

Tbf it's not like Gojo was weak before, Geto was already a Top Grade 1 while Gojo was even more Powerful.

But yeah, at the end of their Teenage Years - Gojo became the Strongest Sorceror and Geto became the Worst Curse User.

A small counter argument for this is that Gojo knew about Hollow Purple even before awakening as he mentions only a few within the clan's history knowing about that technique.
It was only a matter of learning the ingredients before he could cook that dish.

Tbh I'm just giving Yuki an edge there based on her experience and Gojo not having Infinite Void as a one shot ability ready. But that edge is very thin hence 6/10

No matter how disappointed I can be by the way Gege handled this fight, let's clear some factual points my friendos.

Gojo this chapter: "He's as skilled as me!"

Not "What a fraud! He needs to cheat to keep up with me"

What matters is what chars think, not what chars say, and Gojo never considered current Sukuna as a Fraud, more like the opposite (see above).

I wont lie, I don't like the fact that Sukuna bet everything on 10S to beat Gojo and hoped him to use his own arsenal instead.

But Gege decided otherwise (His cursed tools could have done the job I guess, but it would have been another Toji situation).

Like it or not (once again I don't at all), but Sukuna is now a 10S user, no matter how you put it. And he mastered it far beyond than any 10S users ever in the entire history.

Gojo and Sukuna have been portrayed as equals in terms of skills, CT/CE mastery and battles IQ the entire fight because they are.
Period. Even Gojo recognized it this chapter.

The Heian era Sukuna vs current Gojo debate is totally pointless/stupid as current Sukuna doesn't have his Heian arsenal, especially his cursed tools, and more precisely the Vajra-like one, which is considered in the hindu religion as the most powerful weapon in the universe.

Now, agenda speaking, my only problem is Yuji (for whom I invested all my f*cking coins). I don't see how Gege can give him the time to shine if the manga ends this year.
