If you mean like directly like that in an interview, bonus, fanbook, etc, no. But that was the entire point of the fight between her and Naoya.

Maki is getting overwhelmed by Naoya but after that he can't catch her with his speed
Maki expresses inferiority to Toji across multiple sections
Naoya states she grew and has totally changed
She went from being much weaker than a cursed spirit Naoya to being stronger than a stronger version of the cursed spirit Naoya and only then reached Toji's level. So yeah she was fodder to Toji. Probably loses to him still, due to Toji having a bigger bag of weapons.

If my theory is true, the first to have experienced this type of awakening would be Sukuna. The overarching plot of identical twins and them being perceived as an omen in Jujutsu Society is cuz of Sukuna imo. Throughout history it was probably forgotten or removed that it was Sukuna as the core of that. But the identical twins being an omen was passed down. After all, according to Gege he doesn't know if Sukuna even himself remembers his human memories or something like them being complicated or smth.
My theory is that Sukuna had an identical twin, even Siamese twin. He consumed him for one reason or another and became more powerful like Maki and Mai. I think it's likely that Sukuna was Mai, aka had the CT, and the other twin was Maki, aka had great physicals. Sukuna got both when consuming his twin. Add probably got a shit ton of Cursed Energy due to that plus being the result of the first Culling Games. He probably killed and ate his br0 in order to win the original Culling Games or something.
I think that's a good way to make his origin kinda true to the myth of Sukuna from real life as well as add a little bit of a JJK originality to it.
Could also probably explain why he has such efficient cursed energy usage. Like logically if you've always had at least double of what is described as bottomless cursed energy reserves, I think efficiency wouldn't be the first thing you'd prioritize. I can understand the argument that it's to show how skilled Sukuna is for instance, but I think there's more to it.

The biggest misconception that gets thrown around to this day is that Toji is immune to Domains.
In the Naoya fight, Naoya's Domain conditions were such that anything with cursed energy was being hit by the sure hit attack, while anything without cursed energy (like buildings and innanimate objects) were ignored.
Maki, due to having 0 CE, was treated as an innanimate object (ironically just like Naoya would want lol - just a little mysognist Naoya joke)
That does not mean that Toji and Maki are immune to every single Domain out there. Any Domain that targets everything inside it affects them as well, as does every Domain with passive elemental damage (Coffin of the Iron Mountain for example burns them to death just by being inside of it, no sure hit needed).
