General & Others Just learned that Oda's net worth is $200M

Summit War Saga:
Saboady - 24 chapters
Amazon Lily - 11 chapters
Impel Down - 25 chapters
Marineford - 31 chapters
Post-War - 17 chapters
Overall: 108 chapters

Wano Arc - 119 chapters and still going
If Amazon Lily happened today, with Oda's slower style,he would lose at least 1 year with a filler-plot about Luffy helping Hancock taking back her reign (inventing a villain who takes over Amazon Lily) and only in the end he would make the part where Luffy finds out about Ace!

And that sounds like it slaps. I want to read that

If anything Oda is a man who prefers to destroy his own health in order to make his fans happy despite he does possess all this money. That must be appreciated personally.

Everything that happened from Sabaody to Return to Sabaody was one big narrative plot point. The locations might have been different, and were called "separate arcs" but the reality of the matter is that the whole thing could be lumped together and just be called "The rescue Ace arc."

Just like Water 7/Enies Lobby. One big narrative plot point, over 100 chapters long, but since it took place in two locations, it separated.

And still lasted less than Wano

It's the same reason why billionaires continue to want more and more money. Why Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, etc want more and more money. It is simply the greed for more money. It becomes a dick size measuring contest among them to see who can get the most money.

LMFAO!! I swear yall fanboys are so fing annoying. You know your stupid claim can easily be proven wrong right? Sabody, Amazon Lily, Impel Down, Marine Ford, Ace/Luffy flashback COMBINED took less time than Wano. THREE of the longest arcs in one piece happened in the LAST THREE arcs. LMFAO!! Yall fanboys are brainwashed as fckkk. That GODA marketing is working on yall.
Bill Gates wants a nobel peace prize. Its not just about the money at this point. Its about making history.

Of course it did, because the stakes are 1000 times higher now. Were we really expecting that going into an arc where the enemy is stated to rival that of the Marines should last as long as an arc where the enemies pale in comparison to the might of a Yonko?

Should Wano be less chapters than when the Shichibukai were the main antagonists?

Should the beast Pirates have been mopped up in the same amount of time as the New Fishman Pirates?

The Straw Hats just walk into Wano, and clean house in the same amount of time it took them to deal with Caesar fucking Clown?

The stakes are higher but the quality is not higher

The quality isn't the issue. I think people have just gotten burnt out of the Wano arc, and aren't reading what is going on with as much focus and attention as in the beginning.

Couple that with the fact that most people don't go back an re-read the arc from the beginning to keep the plotlines fresh and cohesive in their minds, and we end up with the same complaints that have plagued the series for decades now.

This happens literally every single arc. And the worst part is, is that people who haven't been following the series on a week to week basis for as long as most of us, try to act like they are the experts in this matter, and "We who have been around for awhile" are the ones who are wrong.

Dude fanboy, you are talking out your ass. The summit war arc was a SAGA meaning a collection of individual arcs that are all interconnected. If you want to play that game then the SAGA of Wano also includes ZOU, Dressrosa and Punk Hazard. That is over 300+ chapters! Yall will do anything to defend this crap terrible pacing of post time skip.

And what stakes? How is Yamato and Momo running around doing abslutely nothing considered "1000 times higher stakes"? How is Luffy running up the stairs for five chapters considered "1000 times higher stakes"? So your logic is the more chapters an arc has the higher stakes it has? LMFAO!

Idk what you're talking about.
Oh look, the generic "You're a fanboy" crap, from the guy who acts like he knows Oda on a personal level, and oh so graciously blesses us with his crybaby antics every week.

"How dare you like One Piece you god damn fanboy!!!!!!!!"

:gokulaugh:
Lol. Oda has obligations, he can't just stop making the manga. You think you can go to shonen jump and say: hi, I want to publish my work so here you guys go" it doesn't work like that.

Do you even know how business is done?
First, you need to make a contract, in that contract there are obligations for both sides of the deal makers, if the sides agree on the terms of the deal then they sign it, after the signing there's no back from it, you ether have to complete the contract or pay the price for breaking it. Oda has obligations, he can't simply stop whenever he wants, so stop selling this "Oda loves us bull shit," Oda doesn't care about his faceless and nameless fans who can't even differentiate between good writing and bad writing.

This is not true at all.

He could easily suspend his job by taking a hiatus. What a low IQ post.
