Its safe to say that he also has awakening since he knows a lot about it and how devil fruit works especially mythical devil fruits but i think he didnt have to use it on part 1 because he thought that theyre power isnt enought for them to make him use it

So this is what might happen in onepiece, luffy will overwhelm kaido with his gear fifth that the scene will change to kaido’s past, maybe we will se xebec’s face this time, why kaido wants to die so much, why he wants to destroy the world, maybe also yamato’s mom has to do with it, who knows right? After this… Kaido will use his awakening abilities, his trump card, last resort, this is probably super strong abilities, even probably par with luffy, remember Kaido’s devil fruit was also a mythical zoan. Luffy was forcing kaido to use this because luffy knew he was hiding this and luffy doesnt wanna regret not seeing how capable kaido is.

This might also end the power scale of big mom and kaido, that kaido was preety much stronger than him anyway once kaido transform into his trump card and who ever wins beetween him and luffy it would be the end of the fight, and of course we know who will win and the fight will be similar to what happen beetween luffy and kataruki both respected each other after the fight and smile.

what do you guys think? Will kaido die or not?

I guess he will die but not by the hand of Luffy. I can see him unleashing an awakening as well, it would be quite ludicrous if that was it and also for a guy of his caliber and a devil fruit of that caliber. 🤔🤔

To be honest im not sure if he’ll die he seems to know more about what the WG was hiding,he used to be on xebec’s crew he knew about Joyboy he’s first mate was a lunarian i think both king and him might have a huge role. Who knows what will happen if Kaido proclaims Luffy is Joyboy.. will he reveal something to him?

Don't get your hopes up, I won't be surprised if kaido is not awakened. this fight is already dragging, by this point, he should have used his awakening.

For example, he talks about Luffy's awakened power this very chapter, and STILL mentions nothing about his own. Unlike BM, who never acknowledges Kid and Law's awakenings, Kaido has.

I hope so and after awakening, he should beat the shit out of Luffy so he can take this fight seriously.

Simply because he thinks its not ready for him to use it, think about how his second form did to them.. plus as we know so far awakening decreased strength and stamina drastically after using it

and yeah he preety much know so much about it too like he discovered that luffy’s awakening transform the user and its surroundings and kaido seems to enjoy this so far he wasnt even shock to what happening like probably he also has a crazy awakening that shows yonkou werent something you mess with.

we actually saw Big Mom’s awakening though, she could get her health back from other people that surrounding her if they fear her.

in fact i wont be surprised if Kid’s attack didnt dmg her but only those explosives on onigashima that knock her out simply because that place probably has sea stones on that storage somewhere or kid threw her out on the sea

so if youre comparing bigmom’s awakening to kaido well kaido’s probably has more dangerous awakening ability because he can transform himself while big mom awakening has a flaw which is you need to fear her or it wont work

In Japan Folktale/Legend. Azure Dragon (Seiryu) is one of four guardians who protect Japan.
And Azure Dragon died from sacrificing themselves to protect Japan Peoples.

If Oda wants to follow Legend and give honorable death to Kaido.
Kaido will die from sacrificing/protecting xxx from xxx.
