That’s just Oda repetitive character design. There’s zero correlation between Elbaf and Kaido. Kaido was also born in another Kingdom

I wasn't thinking it would spoil Xebec's backstory too much. If he is related to Joyboy it all makes sense.

Also, Kaido recruited basically Joyboy’s allies:

1. A Lunarian (King)
2. A cyborg (Queen)
3. A Fishman (Jack)
4. Angels (Flying Six)
5. Giants (Numbers)
6. Demons (SMILE Fruit user)

And most suspiciously, he is NOT from the D clan (pending), who are most likely the descendants and will carriers of Joyboy’s allies (see Nerfertari D Lili)

Kaido is literally a Joyboy parallel. He wanted to have a glorious death like him but couldn’t even do that. Given all these parallels it would be crazy NOT to think Kaido himself wasn’t related to Joyboy

Kaido literally said “Whoever claims to be the next Joyboy has to get through ME”

Essentially his criteria for being Joyboy was to beat the failed Joyboy. That says a lot about his importance towards Joyboy parallel

Kaido was building his SMILE army in Wano. He and BM were going to team up and declare war on the WG with the Ancient Weapons under their control:

BM had Poseidon, since FMI was her territory (she likely knew about this)

Kaido had Pluton, which he knew was in Wano thanks to Jack. He was prob gonna open up borders once the final war began, as foretold by Oden himself

There is absolutely no way Kaido and BM didn't know that the Ancient Weapons aren't in FMI/Wano. BM even knew that there was a "part" of One Piece in Wano

Both are former Rocks members, Yonko, they've done their homework to dotting is and crossing ts

They found the poneglyphs, but that doesn't mean they could read it. Kaido is believable, but there's no way BM knew. I don't think she would threaten FMI over sweets if they had an ancient weapon.

I can see that possibility as well. But the points I made still stand and Kaido knows far too much than he should tbh

Imu could’ve been targetting the “Gods” of today — Darkness, Poseidon, Nika. Luffy and BB are also directly descended from D clan so their connection is extremely obvious

It would make more sense for Joyboy to keep his lineage hidden, rather than risk having the D name descendant exposed to danger
