Ignoring the Marines "capturing" Kaido and giving him food...
Kaido lost 7 times in combat. I'm assuming these were all against different fighters.
1. Roger. This is obvious, Kaido had bad blood with Roger in God Valley. Roger probably Kamusari'd Kaido same way Roger did Oden dirty
2. Rocks. This is also obvious: Kaido's a hothead, and Rocks literally stabbed a Giant Child after he was challenged to a fight. With how insane Rocks crew was, and how they were always fighting, 0% chance Rocks never mollywhopped the shit out of Kaido
3. Linlin. Once again, the Rocks Pirates LOVED fighting each other, and, we already saw from Act 2 that Kaido and Linlin fighting each other is more or less like them saying hi to each other. Same with how Roger and Newgate would clash when they met; fight like wild wolves, then party it up later. Since Kaido was younger than Linlin and Newgate, it's very likely he was the caddy, and had to do some dirty work as an Apprentice Pirate. Also, Linlin's Hunger Pains are... terrifying. Kaido found out the hard way how bad Linlin's temper tantrums were himself. Would be really funny if Linlin woke up, saw Kaido squashed on the ground, and go "Noooooooo, Kaido-kun! My little bro! Who did this to you????" After his eyes fly open in rage, Kaido: "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO DID THIS TO ME, LINLIN, YOU INSANE HAG"
4. Newgate. Once AGAIN, the Rocks Pirates LOVED fighting each other. Since Kaido is a battle maniac, he would have challenged Newgate. These were probably respectable duels, but Newgate was in his prime on God Valley, and Kaido clearly wasn't.
Now, this is where it gets interesting, from here on it's way more guesswork.
5. Garling. We know he was on God Valley. Kaido is tied to Orochi, who's villain origin was the Kurozumi man hunts. Kaido comes from a war-torn country, Garling destroys countries. Prime Garling defeating Kaido tracks.
6. Garp. Was also on his prime on God Valley. God Valley Kaido isn't touching Garp.
7. Imu/Gorosei. Yep: I think Kaido attacked Marineford head on. Fisher Tiger did it, a Giant Robot did it, Sabo and a Few Good Men did it. Kaido's reckless, and after Rocks died, I could see him getting to the point where he straight up tried to attack the WG's headquarters. Kaido can fly, he could easily attack Marineford. Kaido realized that Imu's Hax is LEGIT HAX, and was forced to retreat.
