Ryokugyu is walking into a party that beat 2 Yonko and one of the Yonko's crew, including his commanders, vets, numbers, etc. And Kizaru too offered to go right into Wano to intercept the meeting of two Yonko. Inb4 "Akainu was scared of the Samurai". No. Understand how military works. They want to operate as fast and effectively as possible. So part of it is to exactly assess the opposite strength and account for unknown variables. It's not their job to fight for days.
