Manga Discussion Kaiju No. 8

You know I started reading this manga when there was less than 10 chapters. Iβve always loved it, I just keep getting distracted with other shit lol. I truly do intend to catch up now though.

It was enjoyable.
My favorite characters are Narumi and Hasegawa, they are hilarious together. I would not at all be surprised if we found out that Hasegawa had the strength of a division captain but Narumi was made first division captain over him for simply being the best. Lol
I was quite surprised that Isao died as quickly as he did, though he was given a good death.
Kaiju no. 6 has me intrigued, that thing looks awesome.
I completely called Kikoru getting a Daikaiju weapon, at first I thought she would be the one to weild no. 6, but Reno getting chosen is a great way to keep him relevant to Kikoru and Kafka. I am also very surprised that Narumi has a Kaiju weapon on top of having those Kaiju eyes lol, Narumi is going to be OP asf.
Yeah like I said overall quite enjoyable, I think Kaiju no. 9 is sort of bland as a major antagonist, it really has no personality outside of pointless growth and destruction, but it serves the roll as major series antagonist well enough.
This new arc seems like itβs going to be really fun. Lol
