It kinda gives the last arc vibes with a focus on each character, last power up, dream combo, flashbacks, etc...

But then again, there are a lot of uncovered plot points.

It really does give out last arc vibes because #9 was builded throughout as this cunning reappearing foe who has taken his last stand to the humans.

But #9 shouldn't be the peak, there should be an ever stronger monster lurking in the shadows. Like the king of the Kaijus or the mother of the kaijus or Alphas.

Not really finished for me but yeah I think the show won’t last long. 200 chapters maybe

I think Samurai Kaiju is previous host of Kafka Kaiju

Last few chapters were pretty weak. It was better when I was binging it. Now that I am weekly it is a lot less entertaining.

I would have taken more time with the story. Monster 9 should have been dead a while ago and we should have built up to another enemy not just kaguya the king of monsters at the last moment.
the stakes went up too high too fast and a bunch of teenagers surpassed captains in a couple of weeks.
This series could have gone on for longer and been better for it.

That was uh... A okaish ending I guess? It feels a bit rushed and it could've been far better but it isn't trash neither. Overall, a decent and fun read imo

Yeah, I would rate it 6/10, maybe 6.5/10 in general. Simple yet fun read, probably reads better in volumes. I kinda found it refreshing to have a slightly older MC, but in the end it was your typical shounen.
