Pretty self explanatory with the title of the thread.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Kanjuro is not dead, fam. His importance to the narrative has not expired whatsoever, if anything Oda will milk his betrayal and underhandedness until it’s god awfully hammered into our cerebellums.

I seriously cannot believe how gullible One Piece fans are, specifically grown ass men and women (and all those in-between) who continue to fall for Oda’s same narrative cliches.

Also: A totally not controversial statement because no shit:

Orochi is also not dead.

I think some deaths are fake outs, but just because some deaths are fake outs doesn't mean all deaths are fake outs. Pedro is still dead and so is yasu.

We've seen what happens when you cut kanjuro's drawings, they don't bleed. I think kanjuro actually is dead because I don't think there's any point in bringing him back. I think Orochi might be back, just because of his devil fruit and how conveniently he was taken out. But I think that more or less, the kurozumi family isn't part of the war anymore.

This war will focus on kaido and big mom. I think maybe after everything is over, we might see Orochi regenerate, so we can have some sort of a moment with him and momonosuke/hiyori. But Kanjuro's death was fine as it was.

Hmm. So Greg from OP website sent Oda a letter talking to him about his lack of deaths.

I don't know if this will influence Oda, but after Greg sent him a bunch of GoT tapes which Oda loved, all of a sudden we got the "Red Wedding" in WCI.
