Kata didn’t really show any ambition. One can argue that he showed great willpower by feigning perfection for decades for his family, but even that falls apart due to oda turning kata into a luffy fanboy to let luffy win that fight.

Kata having CoC wouldve been fine since it’d be a shame if none of the BMP inherited CoC, but honestly, Oda did a horrible job with showing us why Katakuri.
