People are forgetting that the Scabbards literally jumped several levels out of thin air. Kinemon went from being absolute trash to PH Law to leading the fight against Kaido and scarring him.

If the scabbards could develop "Oden's ryuo" out of thin air, why not Kidd & Killer. That they're even in the fight suggests they're going to perform adequately. The entire narrative around the Worst Generation vs the Yonkou and Oden's prophecy all but guarantee it.

The Ryou Hyo was teaching Luffy was the barrier one. The sccabards shown to do that. Kinemon wasn't really in any fight to say where his powerlevel was placed, but Zoro was impress by his SWORDSMANSHIP, He can cut steele which means he likly mastered that ryou. I do expect them to do damage to Kaido (if they do fight him), but it's not like they are literally useless if they can do no damage. They can still provide support, help parry and redirect attacks, help ease pressure, stall, etc.

Against Oars, several of the Strawhats didn't deal that much damage, but they were still very helpful. Luffy and Zoro would probably deal the supermajority of the damage to Kaido anyway, so it doesn't really matter whether Kidd and/or Killer can significantly hurt him. Direct damage is not the only way to contribute to a fight.

All the above said, to the best of our knowledge, advanced COA is not necessary to hurt Big Mom.

It's not exactly the case that being useful in the upcoming fight requires the ability to significantly hurt Kaido.

Your defensiveness was unwarranted, I literally said that if they fight Kaido I think they would be able to damage him. I was merely pointing out that they do not actually need to be able to significantly damage Kaido to be useful in a fight against him. While I do think they would deal damage to Kaido if they fought him, that's not strictly necessary for them to be useful in a fight against Kaido.

Fs and ryou are not the same thing. Luffy had to train ryou. He got fs mid fight vs kata. Big difference.

Agreed. Since I'm fallible like everyone else I maybe wrong, but my takeaway is that Haki Flow, or Ryou, is the ability to disperse Haki outside of your body without a medium. Hardening and basic Armament serves as just coating while Ryou allows you to create some kind of barrier outside a medium, and internal destruction goes beyond that and goes completely outside the body without a medium. Like regular Ryou, Internal Destruction allows you to not hurt what you don't want to hurt, and then takes it a step further and completely bypasses what you don't want to hit.
