General & Others Kid Pirates never faced Shanks

So it's fair to say that this statement doesn't hold much value anymore ?

It was used as the big broof that Kaido > Shanks because it was assumed Kid & crew faced Shanks before Kaido, but we now know that It was never the case.
I still have Kaido above Shanks as of now cause he has other things going on for him, but this scene is now irrelevant to It.

It never held the value like that.

To me it was always because of Kaido's Strongest Creature title not because of Killer powerscalling.

Maybe, but then again Killer was said by Oda to be one of smartest SNs alongside Law. He knew the history of a random bell in MF.

They had a fight with the RHPs then regrouped and made an alliance to take Shanks down. Killer obviously did his research on Shanks.


Either way why would he randomly call Kaido the strongest pirate ?

Also Kaido himself stated that nobody could beat him, despite knowing and fighting Shanks and having him in his list. Thats the stronger proof to me. From the man himself.

Kaido is considered to be WSC and said to be unbeatable in 1vs 1 (this is what I mean by other things that put Kaido above Shanks) so of course the common assumption is that he's the strongest pirate. This is likely where Killer statement came from.
But it's basically Killer basing himself on what he heard, which is not the same as if he and Kid actually faced both character directly.

To me the words from the man himself is what puts him above Shanks, the rest is just extra.

Dont forget that Kaido dropped on the alliance meant to take down Shanks and beat the dog shit out of them.

Kaido knows Shanks, he fought him and has him in his list of people that can fight him.

Despite that he still viewed himself to be superior per his own words.

However given the praise he gave Shanks its likely an extreme diff battle.

You compare a fodder like Krieg to an Emperor of the sea like Kaido who was never been shown to be arrogant? He admitted Joyboy would beat him. He isnt the boasting type.

Further, Don Krieg had only his word backing him up whereas Kaido has titles and reputation and strength to boot.

What's not to get? Kaido is contradictory character, dude say stuff like "the victor don't need epithet" then get upset when his fight isn't fair.

Those two arent mutually exclusive you do know that right? He is upset that his fight with Luffy was ended in that way because he was having fun.

All the emperors have almost the same power, the difference is minimal.

Doesn't matter who is stronger, if Shanks or Kaido, it will take an extreme diff battle to win.
