Pretty sure Yonko's have an innate CoC that stays on all the time, with Law noting their haki being too strong for his abilities despite them not using it visibly for defensive purposes it's still there, with sometimed manifesting more strongly like with this chapter, or the previous one when she healed herself.
After being hit by Kaido's attack being the key bit. Or are we now saying the Scabbards/Zoro/Law/Killer were all powerful enough to bypass Kaido's AdCoC, when even now Luffy is struggling? Yeah makes no sense.
Still doesn't mean Kaido's body is covered AdCoC.
Makes no difference. He couldn't use his Devil Fruit power to counter Kaido's Haki, but he can pierce his AdCoC covered body? Makes 0 sense at all.
Weapons user cover their weapons and attacks with AdCoC. People that don't use their weapons (Luffy & Big Mom on occasion) cover their fists with AdCoC and then use it like that. No one has been shown to cover themselves with AdCoC at all
Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Luffy literally say “you coat yourself in CoC right?” And “my punches were too shallow”? Right after figuring out adCoC. That’s a clear indication that Kaido has been using it as a defensive shield against the SN at all times
and if their external defenses are haki coated, it makes sense if Law can’t move them

The quote was actually, "When I was hit, I realized you can coat your attacks with COC." So he was actually talking about Kaido's attacks in specific. And if Kaido's body is coated in COC, then it makes no sense that the likes of Scabbards or even Zoro and Luffy were bypassing his defense—which is COC plus Dragon Scales—when their haki is literally weaker than his before they obtained COC.
But they still they still bypassed it of they actually injured him. You want us to believe they were strong enough to bypass the strongest creature AdCoC? Not 1 individual...9 different individuals? Yeah nah
Haki protects from Law's cutting ability. Law bypassed his Haki because his own was stronger. Doflamingo was not defending with Haki when that attack landed. Law landing that attack on "Kaido's AdCoC coated body" is you telling everyone here that Law's haki > Kaido's haki, which is false

They were bypassing his defense but they were leaving surface level wounds. Even luffy points out right after he figured it out. Their attacks where too shallow.
I don’t see why it doesn’t make sense. AdCoC is not this perfect shield that allows nothing to penetrate it. It’s a defensive shield that will protect you but it can be bypassed by adCoA, which is what the scabbards had. Problem is it’s not deep enough to hurt Kaido

So what? The attack doesn't materialise inside the body. It starts from outside, bypasses the bodies defence and then attacks the inside. Doflamingo knows that, Vergo knew that. The scan literally shows us Vergo was going to counter his Devil fruit powers with CoA but it didn't work, why? cause laws haki was stronger as he himself says straight after cutting him.

Luffy saying he figured out the way Kaido attacks has literally no correlation with Kaido having some kind of unknown COC defense around his body. It was never a thing, to begin with.
The stronger your haki is, the stronger is your defense. People with weaker Haki normally would have a hard time bypassing a haki shield of someone with a stronger Haki unless the external factors that add up to your overall AP help you close the gap b/w your Haki levels. You can even downright completely block attacks with a stronger Haki, which is what Zoro implied against Pica:
Now, Kaido's dragon scales are damn near impossible to workaround, and you add a level of COC that is canonically matching Luffy's level3 COA+COC on top of that, it would become practically impossible for Luffy or Zoro to bypass Kaido's defense because Kaido's COC is as strong as Luffy's COC+COA, which in turn is >>Zoro's and Luffy's COA.
Not by pre-COC Zoro or Luffy and definitely not by the Scabbards if Kaido's dragon scales are being protected by a layer of COC. COC being a part of Kaido's defense was never a thing as I said above.
