Well, we could understand it. It was so fast that Hawkins looked like no match. The purpose should be dethrone several supernova to have clear gap with upper supernova.

The point of Law vs Hawkins was to make Law feat. Before Law showed to be have Awakening, he should beat decent character Alone, e.g. 320m & a supernova. He got 340m Doffy duo with Luffy afterall. So he needed feat.
