Powers & Abilities Killer's "Kama Sonic" - How does it work?

#1
Killer managed to injure Kaido from the inside and to make him cough blood with a peculiar technique in chapter 1002, the attack is called "Kama Sonic"

- "Kama" means scythe in japanese
- "Sonic" means utilizing/produced by/relating to sound waves
- "音撃" is the kanji, which translates to sound attack/shockwave
- An enlarged visual of his rotating scythes trapassing Kaido's body is projected

Killer already showed some familiarity with sound-based attacks during the raid, especially when adviced Kidd, Luffy and Zoro to close their ears against Apoo's attacks (when they were near the DJ Station)
But his ability is obviously different from the one Apoo has (he has not a DF, except his SMILE, and even if he was able to 'awaken' it would be a Zoan) so I have two possible explanations in my mind:

- The simpler one: he somehow amplifies the frequency of rotation of his sickles to such an extent that Kaido's perceived pain is amplified in turn, giving him the sensation and visual illusion of being cut in half, this could be due to some mechanical device on his scythes (so a mechanical-like technique)

- The risky one: is a demonic/illusion based attack similar to Zoro's strange visual distortions
"Oni Giri Enbima Yonezu"
"During its use, he generated a steam which made his swords look like they were bending"

"Ashura: Ichibugin"
"Zoro's anger and frustration manifested itself in a dark aura emanating from himself into a being with six arms and three heads known as an Ashura"
"The effect is like an expanding shockwave from Zoro's nine swords that slashes the opponent"

These are description found on the Wiki, but what really made me connect some dots are the fact that Zoro manifested Ashura due to the anger and frustration he suffered and this aligns with what Killer said while climbing Kaido's dragon body:

"I've been through hell because of this tough hide... but looks like I can get through, if I slice you up from the inside!"

Killer, here, seems to retrace all the pain and anger he suffered since everything went to hell: Kaido falling on his crew island, beating them, being obliged to eat a SMILE to save his Captain, reopening a trauma, being obliged to work under Orochi for the same reasons, getting beaten by Zoro after all this and then being nearly drowned to death. After that, his attack menages to project a visual distortion of his scythes, that seems to injure Kaido from the inside through shockwaves.

- The balanced one: a mix of the 2 previously described

I provided 3 possible explanations, one simpler (and more likely to be right), another a bit more 'elaboreted' (and less likely to be right) and another one (more balanced). All the points I presented should be at least considered.
I want to know what you think, also feel free to add other possible interpretations on how does Killer's new attack works
:myman:

Yeah, sound waves/shockwaves attacks is the most logical conclusion since he could bypass Kaido's external defence.
Yeah that's the produced effect, my question is "How is it generated?"
Post automatically merged:

He just rotates his scythes at such speeds, they create a sonic shockwaves. Pretty cool attack.
That's what I linked as the 1st (and more likely) possibility
