Speculations King & Queen were not imprisoned in Udon

Are King & Queen in prison against their will?

Lets see

King & Queen were the only Beast Pirates to leave Onigashima. If they were imprisoned, where are the rest of the Beast Pirates like Jack, Ulti, Page One, Who's Who, Sasaki, Maria? Why only show the 2 that were confirmed to have left Onigashima? Alliance went all the way back to arrest only King & Queen but didn't arrest the ones in Onigashima?

Udon was Queen's territory and he left Babanuki and others there to control the prison. Of course they would try to retreat to the last safe place they've got

"FORMER prisoner mine, Udon"

No one has any cuffs on

They have alcohol with them

Babanuki being under Tama's power doesn't mean anything if she doesn't give him orders. He still acts on his own. Tama only asked him to lie to Queen about prisoners being not escaping

and Babanuki has Beast Pirate fodder with him that can't be brainwashed by Tama because they are humans, which means Babanuki is still with the Beast Pirates
(and it's not like Babanuki poses any danger to King & Queen lmao)

Can't wait to hear counter arguments

I don't know why you give it so much importance. It is something that we do not know, something that I do not know if we will ever know and that any option is valid.

That yes, I will say that if they are of their own free will, I think that Babanuki should be dead after the mess.

Yeah, miles away from where Onigashima was dropped near flower capital
Some guy just needs to pop some cuffs on them and they’re done
Who are these some guys? The only ones that knew about the war were up in Onigashima and the only ones knew where King and Queen were was Zoro and Sanji.

Tell me, where is Jack? Why not show him along with the 3 calamities when Greenbull is talking about beating commanders?
Where are the flying 6?

Any samurai wandering around with seastone would be enough

But I think Oda has a grudge against Jack. He keeps getting shit on

oh yeah, random samurai are always wondering with sea stone on them when they can barely afford to buy food

What else? King and Queen landed in Udon and fell on sea stone chains?
But I think Oda has a grudge against Jack. He keeps getting shit on
I'm asking about any beast pirates

Why only King & Queen? Ever thought about it?

The entire scene showing the aftermath of Greenbull vs King + Queen + Beast Pirates is there because Oda wants to hype Greenbull.

If he wants to hype Greenbull, why would Oda do anything to make King and Queen as weak as possible?

In the bizarre scenario that he does want to make King/Queen weak then why not show the things that are making them weak? Why not show the magic invisible handcuffs? Why not have either of them mention their injuries that are supposedly making them half dead?

Oda showed what he wanted to show and what he wanted to show was Greenbull disrespectfully curb stomping two Yonko Commanders.

Anyone who's clinging onto ambiguity over explicit portrayal is often times pushing an agenda that he finds is being contradicted in the source material. That's one of the tell tale signs of when someone is actually wrong in an argument; Occam's razor comes to mind, because it really does apply when analyzing more simplistic stories (such as action Shonen), not just in the field of science.

They were probably regrouping with the rest of the beast pirates who didn't get defeated at Onigashima, since those are probably actually imprisoned or something.
This would explain why King and Queen are there but Jack and the Tobi Roppo aren't.

It's entirely possible that they were still somewhat injured from their fights but the idea that they were imprisoned and handcuffed doesn't make sense given the dialogue and events of the chapter.
