About the trembling part, I don't think we can use that as a solid argument
Someone like Rinbukun was trembling from Tou. We might be underrating Tou's combat ability here.
But then again, Hara might've used Shiryou specifically for that parallel. Regardless, SBS's portrayal as the final Zhao obstacle for Qin puts him ahead of Houken by default imo

Well I never said Shibashou > Houken yet lol. And I never said Shibashou fodderizes Shiryou although he probably does.
It’s more about the larger narrative Hara is presenting around Shibashou. First Jiaga was compared to Moubu, and now we have a direct moment of comparison between Houken and Shibashou where Shibashou looks better. Whether this is intentional or not remains to be seen, but Shiryou never had a moment of fear against Houken.
This forum’s relationship with Houken is so weird. Three years of doubting Houken’s prowess followed now by a strange period of Houken wank. Lol

See this is me not sure if Jonkins’ audience is drugged or if they just don’t understand Kou En hype the way we do. Literally it is debatable that Kanki can even beat Karin let alone big papa himself…
The fact that this poll even exists…this to me is just as ludicrous as a “can Akou push Futei to high diff” poll…
On the one hand, I think Kanmei pretty much represents the martial maximum of what any character can be capable of. On the other hand, it is very possible Hara plans to power creep Kanmei via the “unknowns” of China like Shibashou and who knows who else. Time will tell.
And on this one I agree. Man’U < Shibashou < Kanmei is my scaling as of now, though if Hara continues to hype Shibashou to oblivion then this can very quickly change.

2. Eh, I wouldn't look too much into this one. Kanki was an iconic character thoughout the entire manga till his very end, which is still "fresh" in the fans' mind. Kouen meanwhile, he gets mentioned a couple times and has yet to even appear, it's not unreasonable that in the larger fandom a few fans barely think of him/want to give the fan favorite Kanki the Beheader the edge. But yeah, Kouen is certainly a stronger commander overall (and Kanki was still a monster so that just speaks of what Kouen should be).
3. Raiki should be very strong yeah. Lol.
4. Right now I give the edge to Kanmei but it is certainly possible that Shibashou is indeed the stronger duelist.
5. I'd give it to Shibashou but likewise, any possibility is open.
