Let’s not act as if Luffy is equal or stronger than Kaido in a 1v1 from start to finish. Yeah, Luffy is at a level where he could be a high to extreme diff fight against Kaido, but that doesn’t mean Luffy is stronger currently. A 1v1 against Kizaru is nothing less than extreme diff for Luffy who is now I consider mid top tier level.

Nobody said neg dif but at the most the upper limits of midd diff. Maybe low end high. Whitebeard fought with three admirals in a day and thousands of other people. A yonkou should be able to take an admiral without pause.

I agree no sane person would think that. Admirals are tough as hell, especially the original trio.
I am hoping Oda will let Kizaru and Luffy go all out. I want to see all the things Kizaru can do with his powers and awakening. He has to be awakened. This could be an entertaining, epic, intense, and exciting fight if Oda lets Kizaru and Luffy go ham.

It is bad writing if that happens. Anything worse than low diff is a massive L for Luffy.
Don't give a shit if the others are happy with mid or high diff. That will be a massive L for Luffy. Simple as. Will see if Luffy takes the L or not, but it is what it is if it happens.
Why? Because Luffy is supposed to get his revenge anything less than kicking Kizaru around is a very big L, he won't get another chance to prove himself, admirals aren't important enough to reappear so frequently before manga ends and we are in the final part. Luffy's last chance to toy with Lozaru.

Most admiral fans are expecting Kizaru to lose high/extreme diff or for the fight to get put on hold.
Most yonko fans seem to be expecting Kizaru to get one shotted (that train has left the station) or low diffed.

Kaido is a fraud. He isn't the world's WSC, Shanks, Mihawk, Imu, Akainu, BB, and probably Dragon are all stronger than him. It's a title that Oda gave him to hype up his main villain for that specific part of the story. Now that we are past Wano you will realise how irrelevant he is in the grand scheme of things. Can't beat a demented old woman even after fighting her for 3 days, meanwhile Shanks' one-shot materials can beat her in an hour.
