We have also seen that Kizaru has beaten the shit out of Sentomaru, tried to kill Vegapunk and kicked Bonney into a laser barrier of death (which I am not really taking as “trying not to harm her too much”. And this was all pre-Saturn appearing in person on Egghead, which I don’t think Kizaru expected based on his reaction to Saturn appearing.

Kizaru attacked Sentomaru as a form of respect for his determination; he explicitly said it and we have senn plenty of these things in the manga.

As for Bonney:

It can be done, but I don’t think it’s very consistent writing.

I think that we have been slowly fed with Kizaru's perspective till the point we are really wondering what he is up to.

Obviously anyone has a personal opinion on how this is good or bad or logical or not.

But I mean Kizaru's betrayal is literally OBVIOUS right now, he doesn't need to actively fight Saturn but he won't protect or follow his orders anymore.

Not only that, during the flashback and recent chapters it becomes CLEAR, Luffy will defeat Saturn in Egghead fulfilling Kuma's wishes as well as Bonneys.

Kizaru's power is too obvious all the other possibilities you quoted are far more likely, specially Caribou and Blackbeard Pirates

In the end, it was Law, because he wasn't really handcuffed with seastone.

Given how Oda doesn't really evolve as a writer. It's almost likely this is the case.

A note is thrown to him telling him to do nothing, and there’s a panel of Monet going “……..“ much like Kizaru did.

The theory was Monet secretly wanted to help the Strawhats, or more specifically the children, and she was the one who threw the note.

It turned out that Law wasn’t really imprisoned and it was him.

(Also years after it, people still refused to accept that Monet was just a bad bad person and insisted it was her and she would join the crew, which was very, very annoying.)
