Akainu came back like nothing after WB's punchs. Aokiji was about equal level back then... that means it's not possible for Kizaru to be done with this, unless he was significantly weaker than other admirals.

I say he's definitely coming back with more.

It’s obvious he isn’t done for and he is coming back soon. However, we gotta wait for the FB to finish and probably a few more chapters so it could take around 7 to 8 chapters if not more! We may not see Kizaru fighting till next year…

Obviously Saturn fights Luffy. Oda is not trying his hardest to make you hate Saturn only to have him defeated 5 years later by a side character.

Independly of his strenght, I could propose a scenario where Saturn is focused on killing VP, destroying the robot/ everything and luffy tries to stop him but Kizaru interfers once again causing the continuation of the fight.

Exactly. They don't get it. It's emotional manipulation and payoff. Just like Oda built up Charlos to be a bastard and made him cartoonishly evil and incompetent...only to have Luffy punch him(that's the payoff).

Oda is clearly making Saturn hateable(calling marines insects), taking part in a genocide, and killing Kuma.

Heck. He might have even killed Jinny lol.

All of this within a few chapters.

But people are going to legitimately argue. Along with all the Nika references in Bonney's flashbacks.

It's clearly setting up Luffy defeating Saturn.

There are still the lighting gauntlet stuff to deal with I guess, I doubt Kizaru has any big fight left but maybe he will still have enough energy to attempt something and somebody (probably with not even coa) will have to stop him using said gauntlet. Luffy of course doesn't need those to touch Kizaru, Zoro too and he also uses swords, Sanji has coa as well and also never uses his hands to fight so who could be the one to use those? A weaker SH? A Vegapunk?

Saturn won't be defeated because that would kill the type of the other 4. They are a faction that will fall together. me thinks.
