Break Week Kuzan switching to the evil side is bad writing

#22
Of all people kuzan was the one who joined blackbeard a evil pirate.

Wasn‘t kuzan supposed to have a sense of justice?

This literally doesn’t make any sense and it doesn’t fit into the narrative.
Hard disagree. A good person like Kuzan genuinely trying to do what he thinks is right by joining Teach is easily the most interesting direction his character could have gone in

BB pirates are not evil, its a pro pirate crew, BB only cares about if they are strong or not, don't care if they like violence or not.

Oda himself said after SH Pirates, he would prefer to join BB Pirates if he was strong.

Marines and Government aren't any less violent than they are. Marines killed their own men many times, they are serving to Celestial Dragons.

Aokiji being with Teach makes perfect sense. When has Aokiji done something good?

He let a criminal like Saul escape, the same as Robin, the only person who can read RP. He also had the chance to catch the mugiwaras like 3 or 5 times, yet he was just chilling with his bicycle.

Then he also gave Spandam the power of the buster call...

Aokiji has always done things that doesnt benefit the WG.

compare to BM and Kaido BB isn't that bad
just for one Tea party BM destroyed few island
Kiado destroyed wano and jack was famous because of destroying islands
even WG will wipe out islands when they want and CDs are as bad if not worse than emperors
the only good side in power houses in that time was RHP and probably BB offered him what he wanted
Also expect old members None off BBP are loyal they will back stab teach if they benefit from it

also if teach is related with xebec he probably know many thing that almost no one else know

Not really he couldn't accomplish what he wanted as a Maine and wants to move independently. He'd be garp if garp had his dream crushed like kuzan did. When a pirate gets crushed they are sent to prison or die this is the first time a marine has had their dream crushed and betrayed by the WG. It's completely possible this would have happened to akainu had he lost but instead of joining a pirate crew he might have just went rouge and made his own pirate hunting crew.

How? Nothing about kuzan has even hinted at that
I don't think we need hints when it's a thing we've heavily suspected after we learnt he allied with BB. Oda highlightin Burgess' suspicions reinforced this, throwin hints would make it too obvious if that's where Oda's goin w/ this. Would make more sense to trick readers into thinkin he rly did switch sides by throwin in a decoy in the form of a fake twist. And now look at everyone's thoughts after the last chapter, most ppl now think Kuzan rly turned his back on the WG. So if it turns out Kuzan never switched sides in the end, Oda will have successfully tricked the readers.

So why you think Kuzan who didn't kill Robin, let SH go twicely, hated WG for Ohara and then became pirate means that he is just double agent? Saul was his close friend, and Kuzan killed him for WG. But Kuzan always got those doubts
He hates the current state of the WG but I think he still believes in justice and the importance of a legal system, I don't think he has any interest in bein a pirate and livin that kind of life. He just decided to follow his own justice in his own way cause he despises Akainu's way of doin things but he's still a Marine at heart imo.
