General & Others Law and Kid vs Big Mom was very disappointing

If I was Oda I would have given settled Luffy’s powerups to only AdCoA and devil fruit mastery pre-awakening(basically I will make it so that Luffy will be able to stretch/inflate/deflate his body almost instantly on will without the need of applying any kind of force/blowing air where the length/volume of stretching/expansion is dependent on the strength applied/air blown into the muscles and bones and he can keep the specific part inflated without the need of constant haki infusion basically eliminating G4th time limit as well as eliminating G3’s limitations of being slow and the size being limited by Luffy’s exhaled air blown into the bones also I will make Luffy able to vulcanize his rubber body for extra defensive purposes as if he’s using a Tekkai like move against slashing techniques) and only hint at Luffy’s awakening at the end of the fight where Luffy achieves only the paramecia aspect of the awakening of making his surroundings into rubber(not people) and being able to make himself into liquid natural form of rubber so that he can use the awakening similar to Katakuri and only hint into AdCoC by revealing that Kaido has and is using it but not straight up give it to Luffy this arc and make it into a 5 vs 1 fight of Luffy, Law, Zoro, Killer and Kidd fight Kaido and all of them can use Ryou
Problem with this fight was that it was way too contrived imo particularly for what the narrative was pushing.
Oda wanted to set-up Kidd & Law as people that will take the Yonko seats which is cuul & all but the problem is that the narrative completely carried that fight.
We had Big Mom not fighting to her full capabilities & fighting like a retard most of the time, Law landing lethal attacks on Liliin when she was distracted, Kidd’s blunt attacks like Punk Cordiano hurting Linlin without any proper justification, Law & Kidd getting multiple Zenkai boosts through that fight for no goddamn reason after they’ve explicitly stated they were running on empty. Not to mention, Linlin lost by a ring-out with external explosives dealing her the final blow to boot. I mean just look at how much effort Oda is putting in to justify Luffy beating/surpassing Kaido & also how much emphasis Oda is putting on the winner of this fight winning based on raw ability & not cheap tricks. Law & Kidd’s fight also have this false image of both surpassing Linlin on the outside but very little effort has been made to justify that.

This is so ridiculous it might even work. 
However real talk we both know those two wouldn't be able to do that to an on-guard serious Big Mom.

Also on guard serious big mom’s fused homie was one shot by exhausted no DF law.
nothing about big mom being serious implies she’s any more effective
