Soul pocus only works if you are afraid. She had to laugh or otherwise it would appear as if she was losing(which she was) and soul pocus wouldn't work.

Kidd's moves are really not that impressive and he only managed to go his way as much as he wanted because of Law's aid.

Law not only aided Kidd so he can use his awakening but also damaged BM himself and lowered her defenses so she can feel anything from Kidd's disappointing attacks.

That's not my cope, that generally accepted view on that fight by the majority of the fanbase. The only people who deny this are Kidd fans or people who use Kidd against characters such as Zoro, Law, or Sanji to prove their argument in Kidd's favor.

All three mentioned, Zoro, Law, and Sanji beat Kidd in 1 vs 1.

Law bypasses her defenses and messes her up from the inside which makes her lose focus and grasp over her powers and she is weaker minute by minute especially if Law continues with his attacks.


Big Mom is not Oni, she's just a human, her "Iron Ballon" bullshit has to be related to Haki, the better focus and stamina, the better usage of your Haki is.

She was so proud of her defense she didn't expect Law's abilities can just say fuck you to her skin and mess her the fuck up from the inside and after that is just a straight road down the stairs.

Law's powers made it possible to hurt her.

I haven't said he removed her Haki, he messed her up so badly it was hard for her to use Haki properly. You can't take away someone's Haki but you can clearly mess them up so hard they will use their Haki worse than initially. Law achieved that.

Big Mom was worried about Law's attacks meanwhile Kidd made her laugh. Anything Kidd achieved during this fight was due to Law's MVP performance.
