General & Others Let's replace the Five Elders with these characters. Kaido, Big Mom, Mihawk, Green Bull, and Kuzan

If it happens in the story?? The Strawhat will survive, nobody kills them.
But the amount of impact and consequences these 5 top tiers will deliver would be catastrophic.

The Gorosei aren't going all out!! Maybe?? But that doesn't nullify the fact they are in no position to hold back majority of their strength when they are the one taking major L currently.
The broadcast is still there, the strawhat are about to leave, the sole purpose of coming to the island are a complete failure.
This isn't like Kaido and BM in roof top being casual and killing time toying with the SN, the Gorosei are the one needing to try harder otherwise it will be worsen what's already worse!!

Kaido, BM, Mihawk, Kuzan, GB in the shoes of Gorosei who are in desperate situation to do their job VS a pirate crew and giants when most of them aren't even YC1/YC2 lvl??
It's a one sided beatdown, plot writing will save SH lives and they'll marginal escaped the arc with grievous injuries and defeated.
Exactly like Saboady and MF Luffy.

It's the Egghead arc, same scenario but this time instead of the Gorosei, it is Kaido, Big Mom, Mihawk, Green Bull, and Kuzan.

The Straw Hats and everyone is trying to escape from them.

The five villains can not go all out but they can still somewhat fight.

The five villains can also get hurt because they obviously don't have the immortality regen.

Again same scenario in everything except this time it's those five characters instead of the Gorosei.


So now here is the question?
Would you downplay them? Or would you make excuses for them?

why they can't go all out is because they don't want to completely destroy Egghead as they still need Punk Records and the Mother Flame.

People going all out on the Lower egghead island has nothing to do with this

Plot power reigns supreme. In order for them to escape Oda would have to clown to various degree all these characters (and don't say stuff like "Mihawk will not be clowned" because Oda already did that during Marineford where in the end he failed to destroy rookie Luffy despite being a thousand times stronger). Of course some would have to shoulder this role more than others (thinking about BG and BM) but in the end everybody will fail and si being accounted for it.

The strawhats get squad wiped the gorosei honestly isn't that powerful they're high tier at best, it's the healing that allows them to fight on higher tier I don't see Kaido getting half his skull blown off by Atlas

Big mom and Kaido alone would be more than enough and you throw mihawk, green bull and kuzan in to, plus kizaru and Lucci who where already there

Yeah the strawhats get demolished also these people wouldn't care about the message so they wouldn't be on an ancient Robot side quest

The SH needed the Kidd pirates, Laws crew andall of Wano to barely make it vs Big Mom and Kaido.
Now you want them to be alone and with the additional threat of Mihawk and 2 Admirats?
