General & Others List all the things that you don't like so far in Wano arc.

Hey, everyone, hope all of you stay safe. I would like to make this thread just to know why many of you do not like this controversial arc. Wano has been quite unexpected and wasn't really what I would have imagine back in the days of the Reverie. Here are some of my personal complaints about Wano:
1-)Big Mom's Amnesia BS: Literally, anything could have been better than just doing a Sabo 2.0
2-)Udon Prision Lenght and development: Well, the prison itself was like a training camp for luffy, It was pretty lackluster to know that a brutal crew like the Beast pirates had a child's prison instead of the merciless, brutal, savage prison It should have been.
3-)Jimbe's arrival: It was anticlimatic and forced.
4-)Orochi's design: Oda had the oportunity to make an interesting character with a decent desing, instead, we got a One Piece version of Wario.
5-)Lack of interesting samurais in the enemy's side: I fucking love Kyoshiro back in the day when he was Orochi's right hand. He was the real shogun to me. It is dissapointing that the samurai's country doesnt have even one interesting samurai. It had a lot of potential with the meito blades.
Those are my biggest complaint thus far.
Wano could reedem itself if the war delivers , but we will see in a couple of years how it went.

Luffy getting one shoted by kaido.
The portrayal of luffy, zoro and sanji since the beginning of the raid.
Not enough action for zoro and sanji overall.

Big mom pirates being stupid again and again and again.

Positive aspect about these points is that I know they are going to shine soon, so I will swallow my disappointment and forget about it at the end.

No Hiyori and Yamato making out, giving lap dances.
No seeing the inside of the Red Light District.
All that shit.
No small boobies, The Kimono's ARE LYING TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To much skipping over things trying to justify a "fast Pacing"

Sanji ditching his friends for hookers
Almost everything with Big Mom being clowned in general, or her crew being knocked off the waterfall twice
The Will of P rearing its ugly head (If Pedro magically gets revived, I'm done with this arc)
Sasaki getting clowned easily
The fact most of the Headliners so far are not even close to formidable nor stronger than the Gifters.
Queen overall acting incompetent for someone who's supposed to be a Younkou commander
Needs more Jozu (Seriously, he better show up in this arc)
The fact we have to wait years to know what the hell will happen to the former Shichibukai (Just to put an end to the Koby > Hancock nonsense)
As much as I like Jinbei finally joining the crew, his sudden appearance is just a Deus Ex Machina.

I'm dissapointed the most to what Oda did to the BMP. I mean, he doesn't need to do it twice, once is OK but the scene with Marco wasn't really necessary. Also Orochi's force looks like weak.

Jinbei arrival should have made more sense if he came along with Marco and Neki. Just imagine the entrance if a giant whale shark and a giant cat. They both know Marco. It would have been more climatic in my opinion.

Wano as a nation is also pretty weak. The strongest people are basically the scarbards and it's hard to see any of them being above Zoro to he honest.

- BM’s amnesia
- Oden flashback
- Ulti’s DF

 

[Tobra]

yamato being on the alliance side
portrayal of zoro and sanji
orochi being weak
page one always getting disrespected

 

[Midnight Delight]

These three Characters, Sheepshead Holdem and especially Babanuki were fine , Solitaire needed more screen time and Bao is cute. But these three Characters ruined the reputation of the Beast Pirates untill The Flying Six came along and made the Gifters seem like fodder untill the Beatle Headliners Vs Zoro scene.

I know Oda was having fun with this goofy shit, but not at the expense of a Fucking Yonko Crew

But these three Characters ruined the reputation of the Beast Pirates untill The Flying Six came along and made the Gifters seem like fodder untill the Beatle Headliners Vs Zoro scene.

I know Oda was having fun with this goofy shit, but not at the expense of a Fucking Yonko Crew

Oda is trash tier in writing character development. He can only go on what he thinks is funny.

Oden's flashback with him clowning himself to please Orochi and the waste of Toki as a character.

Jinbei returning in such an anticlimatic and convenient manner.
Similarly Marco coming too early and easely to Wano.

Ashura Douji being convinced too easely to join the alliance.

The use of Big Mom and her crew with the ridiculous amnesia plot, and the BMP having not reached Wano already despite having totally the means to cross the waterfall even without the carps hence the ridiculous and repetitive scene with Marco.

The scene of Kanjuro kidnapping Momo so easely without the scabbards and Straw Hats and other Supernovas being able of stopping him despite having the powers to do so. Same with the third ship with long-ranged cannons that Kid, Law or Luffy could have easely dealt with.

Luffy using G3 on fodders and him being unable of stopping Gazelleman from kidnapping Tama when he could have easely stopped him.
Luffy's lack of use of Future Sight.

Sanji using the Raid Suit too easely despite his distaste for his father and the Germa ideals.

The explanation for Denjiro's change of face.

 

[Daisuke Jigen]

- The antagonists in general (the King of the Hostages, the Queen of Meme and the Meme Team, SMILEs being a joke, etc). The ones back in Paradise were far more threatening than the ones in the so called "real nightmare."
- Udon and O-lin.
- The continued neglect of the SHs. Also, while Zoro wasn't bad per say, I was extremely disappointed to see Oda relegate him to guarding Snot.
- Resident Wano characters have been disappointing at best (Scabbards), unbearable at worst (Eiichiro Oden and his family, Toothless, Orochi, etc). Apart from the kappa to a degree, I can't think of a single Wano character that I actually like.
- TOO MANY CHARACTERS AND PLOTS.

Agreed on Holdem.

Disagree on Speed and Scorpion Jagi. The former was disappointing at best (at least it wasn’t Batman) and the latter at least had a cool design.

Not really, actually. I have seen some... big boobs not my thing. I can appreciate a good sized one though but they are far and few between.

On Topic, I would of like to see more villages in Wano, and their culture, past culture etc...
