GOT Seasons 1-4 definitely clear BB. However, I obviously can’t rank the show higher than BB because of what Dumb and Dumber decided to do after adapting ASoS

How could you call BB recency/popularity bias and then add GOT in your list lol? Your agenda is clear when you added GOT, the show with the most disappointing final season in the history, in your list. That said, I also believed GOT had the potential to surpass BB after its 4th season.

Yeah, seasons 1 through 4 were better than Breaking Bad. But season 5 onwards dropped the ball way too hard. Can’t even watch that show or it’s shitty spin-off these days.

it was not huge in its early seasons

GOT was considered among the GOATs from the start, the end killed it but my point stands

there is a crowd of people who follow series' like this and ALWAYS call it the goated shit
same thing happened to AoT

a well-written story is introduced to 12 yr old F&F/Marvel fans for the first time and they think its the greatest thing

There are definitely shows I like more than Breaking Bad:
Arcane
Succession
Clone Wars

I wouldn’t say any show I’ve seen is better.

the only shows i believe are better than breaking bad are the sopranos, better call saul and the wire. but there are many on the same level, mad men, house of cards, atlanta, barry, band of brothers, succession, true detective, mindhunter, fargo, etc.

For me the only ones definitely better:

Wire
Mr. Robot
Mad Men
Fargo first two seasons at least
And probably Succession if they do not fuck up the last two episodes

And then there are others you can make an argument for, but it´s more tricky.
Sopranos comes to mind, especially since imo it features the best performance of an actor in a TV show at least, but narratively it was definitely weaker than BB.
