Wizaru defeated Snake Man in about 3 seconds. Unlike Kaido, Luffy went into Gear 5 for Kizaru alone instead of accidentally unlocking Gear 5 due to CP-0 interference lol.

And this was a mentally conflicted Kizaru who didn’t want to harm Luffy or complete his mission.

The canonical scaling is nerfed Kizaru > Gear 5 > Gear 4 ~ alcohol buffed Kaido >> Gear 2/3 ~ bloodlusted Hybrid Kaido >> base Luffy ~ standard hybrid Kaido,

The moment Kaido drove that club straight into Nika's brain and had him seeing birds, he flew into the sky to use the strongest attack in the entire series, stronger than anything we've seen so far, in the hope of defeating a nerfed Kaido who had already fought 20 people and was still carrying an entire island.

The facts remain: Hybrid Kaido was destroying Gear 5 to the point of even speed-blitzing him. Look at the difference. While a tired Hybrid Kaido was speed-blitzing Gear 5, a fresh Kizaru couldn't even touch him. The difference is like night and day.

Scanlations seem to use AI to upscale raws en masse these days. The HxH scanlation had some uncany valley panels as well.
