I hope you all realize that Lucci is currently not on the WG's side!? I know that you do not believe me, but trust me if I say that we will not see a finishing blow in the fight between Zolo and Lucci - it will be cut or interrupted or something else.

Lucci is fully on the side of Vegapunk/SHP and is currently just following an extended agenda of his to make them flee the island (their plan to flee is flawed).

Wouldn't be surprised if Oda is going to let Lucci fight Kizaru soon - and that is probably happening in the very near future).

No, he didn't. He just learned how to blast the air which propelled him back to the ground. It's kind of like when Kame Sennin/ Master Roshi used Kame Hame Ha when he was about to fly out of the ring if you remember your early Dragon Ball.

It’s funny how I’m sure you would say Whitebeard, Shanks, Oden, Rayleigh, Roger, or Mihawk has a “ MAJOR weakness in mobility”… right? None of them know Geppo or whatever… They simply just JUMP

king was in mid air like a mile away from Onigashima and in his speed mode… Zoro not only just jumped the entire mile to King, he cut him down faster than king could react to him… He BLITZED A FLYING CHARACTER IN MID AIR

But for whatever reason Zoro has a mobility weakness… right… And Oden and friends do not have such mobility weaknesses… right

We still know way to little about those characters fighting styles. They could all have rokushiki for all we know, or they don't have any solution. It is a big weakness, even though Zoro over came it this time.

Take Big Mom for example. She had a good solution due to her DF, the moment she didn't she almost died at the Roof Top and then later (probably) died against Kidd & Law due to the same reason. Fighters of a certain level in certain terrains can and will aim for it. Same as throw DF users in the sea. Cases in example

- Roof Top trying to push Big Mom down
- King attempting to push down Zoro
- Enel attempting to push down Skypiea
- Luffy vs Kizaru
- Arlong vs Luffy
- King vs Big Mom Pirates
- Marco vs Big Mom Pirates

You remember when Zoro first got Enma and cut off the cliff? Imagine he fought a DF user there that couldn't fly. Rather than beat the opponent he could just cut off his foot hold and win.

we saw Garp fighting and he never used Geppo once, and Garp is a rival to the pirate king… Garp didn’t use Geppo once in beehive island… even when Garp charged at Avalo Pizarro to punch his mountain face, HE NEVER USED Geppo… He just jumped from building to building

You are either overly estimating how much being able to fly actually matters in combat (if you’re not a dumb idiot like big mom) or you’re underestimating how much things like jumping or long range attacks very easily make flying a minor advantage best

We haven't seen any of them really fight, we've seen skirmishes and odd attacks. We dont know how they would handle a scenario of falling from height or in to the ocean. Anyhow:

Kuzan: Can freeze the sea to get a foot hold and can "fly" by elevating himself in to the sky by making ice mountains.

Akainu: He should be able to create volcanoes to get upwards. Probably can produce molten rocks (magma) that he can step on if he was falling.

Garp: Somebody taught Coby and Helmeppo rokushiki. Other Vice Admirals like Dalmatian, Momonga and Vergo use it so it could be all Marines of a certain level gets trained in it. Anyhow, he can swim. But sure, otherwise he would be in deep shit if someone dropped him from Skypiea or Onigashima.

Roger/Mihawk/Shanks/Rayleigh: They can swim. Rayleigh is the greatest human swimmer in the entire series, Olympic Gold Medalist. But sure, they would be in deep shit if someone dropped them from Skypiea or Onigashima if they lack some way of flying/sky walking/clear lancing or whatever.

Whitebeard: He would be in deep shit if someone dropped him from Skypiea or Onigashima. Straight death, can't swim.

No Garp do something equivalent to what Zoro did in mid air if he were falling from Onigashima… He’d like punch the air to make an opposing force to slow himself down and land safely

I want to repeat, mobility has never been a weakness for the VERY MANY non-flying top tiers in the series. And so I do not believe it will be for Zoro either

until it’s revealed that all the top tiers listed above must also have Geppo to maintain their top tier status, I’m gonna believe Zoro won’t need it

and it has to be revealed that ALL OF THEM have it… If even one of these guys doesn’t have Geppo yet they are still top tiers that means it’s possible to be top tier without it and that means Zoro doesn’t need it either to be top tier

the one piece characters are superhumans… Things like flight or fall damage mattering outside of plot is a tall order… As impressive as it was that Kaido can fall from a sky island and take no damage, no top tier can die from fall damage either… there are too many ways to simply prevent something as simple as that from killing you in this series
