Guys can you explain this to me .
How could kaku in his zoan form defend against zoro's swords which are from steel without using tekkai whereas Lucci in his zoan form used Tekkai to defend against it ? .

We can't say he used tekkai but his nose was hard and you can see in the panels , he didn't use tekkai .

I'm you trying to make sense out of this scene. A human nose is not that hard nor is a giraffe nose.

But if Oda is implying that Kaku hybrid forum nose is that hard, then it is.

His nose is just that hard! Jabra was stated to be the only one who could constantly use Tekkai whilst moving! Or it could be explained that he uses tekkai at just the moment before impact.
