Speculations Luffy’s Final Battle Will Be a 16 Man Gauntlet

Joy Boy final battle was not 1v1 but against different founding Kings/Queens. There were originally 20 Kings/Queens but I don’t think they all fought Joy Boy. IMU being tied to the number 16 makes me think it was 16 of the Kings/Queens who fought Joy Boy, making it the 16 Holy Bullets that defeated Joy Boy.

Looking at the WG, there are 5 Gorosei and 10 Holy Knights + IMU, making 16. Luffy fighting these 16 gauntlet style would mirror Joy Boy’s battle. Oda also foreshadowed this with Kaidou the WSC and failed Joy Boy who fought, but ultimately lost to 16 individuals, 9 Scabbards, 5 Supernova, Yamato, and Momosuke. Luffy is the only one who can succeed in this gauntlet and surpass Joy Boy.

I agree, Luffy will face 16 people and eventually defeat Imu. This way, he will finally achieve the same feat as Kaidou and consequently approach Kaidou's GOD TIER level.

Besides the people I mentioned there is still, Marines, Seraphim, CP, CG, BBP, and RHP. Plenty of enemies to go around for the other SH, SH allies, and Revos.

More specifically I think the Revos will attack Marijose while most of the WG forces are busy dealing with the Yonko nearing or on Laughtale.

This suggests that WG did 8 Cleansings "Before" Void Century Ended, and 8 "After"

So Overall, i think it has nothing to do with Luffy Fights
However, it's possible that there are 16 Holy Knights & each One was given a Region to Control

This is an horrendous take considering the power jump Luffy-Nika would need to have but the 16 stuff may be legit with regards to what happened in the Void Century battle. 16 can be read as Imu if you separate the radicals of his name, chapter 1060 is where Imu nukes Lulusia for rebelling with 16 laser beams, Doflamingo's final attack and the allusions in his flashback to 16...

Also, having 10 Holy Knights (Garling as boss + 9 others) does match up with SHs being 10 (Luffy + 9), RHP being 10, BBP being 10 if you exclude Kuzan, Marines most likely being 10 as well (Akainu + remaining Zodiacs when Kizaru's role is done)...

The only thing that would remain to be known is what the 4 other CD families did in the Void Century. We know the Nefertaris deflected at some point to Joy Boy's side, so that leaves 19. What about the other 3? Did they remain neutral?
