Current Events Luffy cracked Kaidos Club

It could be that Luffy cracked Kaido's club or it could just be that it is drawing error or shading!Although,Luffy obliterating Kaido's club in the final clash would be legendary!
I think it was just an error,if Luffy did something like that Kaido would have pointed that out when he was mocking Luffy after beating him!
EDIT:it actually looks like a crack,it goes to the spike as well!

I guess the job to off Kaido will presumably end up as Zoro's thing at last. But the manga is kinda steering towards the direction of Luffy at least defeating him.

Have we ever seen Kaido throw a punch, or use his fists at all? This would be interesting to know what Kaido will do once his prized possession is shattered to pieces.

maybe Zoro's Asura did it, he did block and deflect a few of Kaido's club attacks....
