Hi in this thread I will reveal to you who will be final opponent of Luffy at the end of manga.
Small number of fans thinks it would be Shanks as his main opponent for one piece treasure while majority thinks it would be blackbeard . Also fans think Luffy will face Akainu while fighting world goverment. Many also think Luffy will actually fight Imu in a epic clash.
But let Drodje tell you something : Guys this is Oda we are talking about he wont allow end boss of his manga to be so predictable.

Yes its Laboon , do you really expect Luffy ( Oda ) to break his promise . Also do you think Laboon is just waiting for their rematch unprepared. While Luffy is trying to become pirate king and fulfill his dream Laboon is also making his move.
He is diving into deepest depths of world ocean where watter preasure is extremely huge , where normal being cant live or even survive. This way he is increasing his body durability and moving under all that pressure is also increasing his speed something he would need to face Luffy.
Also thats not all Laboon will swallow Kono Yo No Mi new unique devil fruit which will allow him to fight on equal terms with Luffy.
At beggining Luffy will just go easily but after discovering Laboon amazing strength he feels it would be disrespectul and an insult to Laboon to go easy . Fight will be long and cover entire volume of manga. Watching all that Brook realises fight will surely end in one of their deaths, so as Luffy crewmate and only survivor of Rumbar pirates he would be able to make them stop . They will acknowlege each other power and everyone will live happily ever after.
