So Luffy goes from 0 to 100 just because of FS ?
A bit hard to believe knowing that Katakuri with FS couldn't 10000shot Luffy; which means that either Katakuri hits are made of plastic (unlikely) or that Kaido hits like a truck (more likely).

I disagree about AdCoA, there's no indication that Luffy use Penetrative CoA against Yamato at all. But if we go by agreeing to your view (Luffy used AdCoa) it means Yamato saying that Luffy using that level of AdCoA is him playing around. That speaks volumes about how strong he will be if he gets serious.
About asking Luffy to join, its no surprise since Yamato is the one wanting to become Oden. Just like how Law/Rebecca want Luffy to join forces with them to beat Doflamingo, but in the final battle it's Luffy who is capable of beating Doflamingo.
I know about Kaidou's durability. The same like Lucci's tekkai at the first time. I was more overwhelmed by Lucci toying with Luffy compared to Prome Kaidou finishing Luffy with named attack, while the younger Kaidou oneshot-smacked (sneak attack, but still) Oden without a named attack.
But Luffy getting the means to hurt Kaidou, is just similar to him getting the means to hurt the previously-untouchable Tekkai right? If he already has the method to hurt Kaidou, then one matter to defeat Kaidou is settled. we can matter of other variables already such as speed technique etc. Luffy just blitzed hybrid Ulti without being serious, the main factor imo is not the hybrid itself, it's how absurdly strong Kaidou will be when using his hybrid.
But, the revealed theme of powerups alone (FS, Penetration CoA) have made me believe that Luffy's progression will allow him to display being Kaidou's equal at the final battle. The ability to read any attack combinations long before it happened. The ability to bypass any kind of durability. Its designed specifically for a physically-oriented opponent like Kaidou. So to me, Luffy's chance to 1v1 Kaidou, just like every arc's big boss in the final battle, has become a real legit possibility.
But yeah you may have known my view about this one.
