The day that Amazon Lily was attacked is the exact same day that the Ultimate Chapter was released which revealed Blackbeards 2.2 Billion Berry bounty. We’re shown this because the assault on the warlords was started one chapter before that. And as shown from the cross guild chapters, Brannew didn’t update the Warlord bounties until after cross guild was formed which was well after the attack on Amazon Lily.

The bounties from the flashback were current, not their bounties on the attack of Amazon Lily.

The timeline is wacky imo. Let's sum up !!

The Ultimate chapter is the 957, right ?

In this chapter, we have Akainu and Issho talking about Issho having won because the warlords are gone and the Marine have to trust the SSG. They are also talking about the alliance between Kaidou and Big Mom.

In this same chapter, we have the meeting with Brandnew, Sengoku and the Marines in which they are talking about the alliance between Kaidou and Big Mom.

And Brandnew added the Navy has no longer the option to rely on the Warlords and they can only rely on the SSG now.

In this meeting, we also have the bounty of Kaidou, Big Mom, Shanks, Roger, Whitebeard and Teach's old bounty (given Brandnew said they have to update bounties).

In this same chapter, we have Garp just left the Fishman Island after escorting the Royal family after the Reverie. We know Garp took some time with the Royal Family to discuss.







In the chapter 1058, as you're saying, we know Crocodile, Buggy and Mihawk got attacked after the Warlord system dissolution, they joined forces to create the Cross Guild and so, during the meeting with Brandnew, we have the new bounty of Crocodile, Mihawk and Buggy.







In the flashback chapter, the chapter 1059, we have Teach and Boa fighting, in which we have their new bounty. At that moment, the Warlord system is already dissolved and the Seraphims were sent.





We also have the chapter 1086 in which it's said Crocodile was spotted on Empty Bluff Island and 3 Seraphim got deployed. That happened after the Reverie.





So, the chapters 957 and 1058 happen at the same time, given it's the same meeting. Right ?



The logical option to me is a little ellipse of a couple minutes happens between 957 (in which there was Teach's non updated bounty) and 1058 (in which they already started to talk about update bounties like Crocodile's, Buggy's and Mihawk's).



The 1086 one happens after Crocodile helped Buggy and seemingly before Mihawk joined, so before the meeting in which Brandnew updated the CG bounties.



The chapter 1059, we know the flashback happened a few weeks before the current timeline at the time the chapter got released.



So we got :

1) the Reverie in which it was decided the warlords system have to be dissolved



2) the warlords system dissolved, Marines were send to arrest the ex Warlords. And it was decided to trust the SSG with the Seraphim



3) Mihawk got attacked, seemingly during several days because he said he has to relocate because Marines keep coming.



4) At the same time, Buggy's got attacked and Crocodile helped him. At some time, Crocodile also made contact with Mihawk to make him a proposition.



5) Marines got the info Crocodile was on Emptee Bluff Island and deployed Seraphims to arrest Buggy and Crocodile.



6) We don't know when but Mihawk joined Buggy and Crocodile. And the Marines got this info they created the CG. Just after that, we have the meeting with the CG new bounties.

The marines began their attack on Amazon Lily on chapter 956. The next chapter, Blackbeards 2.2 billion Berry bounty is confirmed by brannew in the ultimate chapter. This is the same day that crocodile attacked Emptee Bluffs. Later the Cross Guild poster is circulating and Buggy is crowned an emperor. This occurred weeks after the attack on Emptee bluffs and Amazon Lily. The same day as the attack on Amazon Lily, Blackbeard makes landfall on Amazon Lily.

It is impossible for Blackbeard to have a 3.9 Billion Berry bounty on Amazon Lily because at the same time as the attack, Brannew confirmed his bounty to be 2.2 billion in the ultimate chapter.

The fight wasn’t multiple days, Blackbeard showed up immediately as we see marines saying “the Kuja are fighting back!” Right before Blackbeard shows up which means the fighting just started.

The bounty we saw in the flashback were granted post Amazon Lily.

He got it between the moment he set sail to reach Amazon Lily and the moment he reached Amazon Lily, during the meeting which was happening right between those two points in time.

And again, we have to separate what us readers are informed and what the world in One Piece is informed.
We got informed during Teach vs Boa fight about their new bounties, but that doesn't mean the World in One Piece got informed about it at the time we got informed.
So Teach got his new bounty as I said during the time he was sailing towards Amazon Lily so during Brandnew meeting, us readers got informed about his new bounty during his fight against Boa, but his new bounty was made public maybe later in the press.

Because that doesn't make sense Teach got his new bounty right at the same time he was fighting Boa.

There’s no inconsistency. The two meetings took place at two different times. Cross Guild did not exist while Brannew was discussing the other emperors, and we know the meetings are different because he mentions going back to the drawing board for new bounties which means the warlords bounties have not been written yet, those don’t get created till after Cross guilds formation which again cannot happen during Blackbeards attack on Amazon Lily because not only did Croc have to destroy the marines attacking Emptee Bluffs, Buggy’s people had to create and distribute these posters which happened weeks after Amazon Lily according to when Morgan’s distributed the news.

Oda had teach destroy boa in a fight and in doing so showcased the compared bounty to reflect that power difference. There’s a reason the bounty wasn’t shown until Teach literally had Boa at his mercy.

Again, it is impossible for teach to have the bounty during Amazon Lily, timeline wise this fight took place as the day Brannew stated Teach had a 2.2 billion Berry bounty, teach left the second he was made aware the warlords were disbanded and arrived shortly after the marines made landfall on Amazon Lily.

Because we know the warlord bounties weren’t created till after the formation of cross guild which took place at least a few days to weeks after Teachs attack on Amazon Lily it means Boas bounty that was shown on Amazon Lily is her current bounty she received after the fight. The exact same is the case with Teach.

There’s no inconsistency, in timeline, just Oda showcasing those twos current bounty and how Teachs bounty skyrocketed after Amazon Lily. You’re right we need to separate what we as readers see and what the world sees, we as readers know that this is a flashback, and us being shown their current bounties that physically is impossible to have during that flashback means odas instead showing us what caused the insane bounty boost

In the same time, Buggy is attacked and Crocodile came to help him.
The Marines got news of this and decided to deploy this time Seraphims (chapter 1086).
Some time later, Mihawk joined Buggy and Crocodile and formed the Cross Guild.

Chapter 1058 -> the flashback in which CG bounties are discussed took place after the creation of the CG.

So you are maybe right about the fact there was 2 meetings :
- the chapter 957 one in which the topic was the alliance of Big Mom and Kaidou, and Warlords' old bounties have to be updated.

- the chapter 1058 one in which all old bounties got updated after Teach-Boa fight and CG's creation.

But I have a hard time to appreciate the fact Oda took a flashback (Teach-Boa fight) to give us current Teach's and Boa's bounties.

Because narratively speaking, the actual order of events is :
1) fight happens (past event)
2) bounty gets updated (present event).

While here, Oda took a present event (the bounties updated), forced it in a past event (the fight) to justify that past event will give the present event. That's not like this it's done usually in fiction.
